Students are following the Aztec legend of Tenochtitlan by co-constructing city up brick by brick. Starting with the eagle on a cactus holding a snake, as prophesied by the God, Huitzilopochtili, the Aztecs built homes, temples, floating gardens and finally an aqueduct and roads to the mainland. A majestic city until the Spanish invaded. Now it's hidden beneath Mexico City!
