Our School Day

Our pupils are at school for up to 32.5 hours every week.

The school day starts at 08.50 and ends at 14.30 or 15:30. On Friday the day ends at 12.45. Our school day is divided into 6, 7 or 9 teaching periods depending on the phase your child attends. Every day starts with a nurture breakfast and ends with a period of recall and reflection. The following shows an example day for pupils in Courage:

Nurture Breakfast 08.50 – 09.30

Period 1 09.30 – 10.15

Period 2 10.15 – 11.00

Period 3 11.10 – 12.00

Lunch Time 12.00 – 12.30

Whole School Reading 

Period 4 12.45 – 13.30

Period 5 13.30 – 14.15

Reflection 14:15 – 14:30

Enrichment 14:30 - 15:30 (twice a week - with additional optional sessions)
